Dear First Grade Parents, Welcome to a brand new school year for your children. We are most happy to have two additional students that have joined our class. They are Hannah Ricke and Andrea Kunz. We all look forward to forming a family and school community connection throughout the year. Various materials will be sent home with the children so parents can work with them on current classroom topics. After all it takes a village to raise a child. Hopefully many of you will take advantage of the Open House time on Tuesday, August 31 from 6:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. for you and your child to bring their classroom needs to school and get to view the classroom. At this time we can discuss any special arrangements for your child’s going home at the end of the school. For bus parents I will be riding the bus to the highschool from St. Mary’s during the first two weeks of school. The younger children will also have bus tags. If you have different arrangements for a specific day please let us know via note or e-mail. Delores (Dee) Woolf First Grade Teacher

Scrip sales for May were $31,559 and profits totaled $1,080.15. We will definitely exceed 2008-09 sales and profits!
Please continue to purchase scrip throughout the summer months. It can be purchased weekdays at Heartland Credit Union and after all weekend Masses at St. Mary’s.
“Education is great, Catholic schools make it better“ adult T-shirts are available in S, M, L, XL and XXL sizes in the school office. They cost $8.00 per shirt and come in chocolate brown color only.
Get a shirt or two before school is out and help promote our great school over the summer! These shirts are soft and comfortable and shrink very little (true to size). They make a great gift, too! - especially for Father’s Day!
Send a check along with a note to Carol indicating how many shirts you wish and the sizes of each. It’s that easy. Your shirt will be sent home with your child.
Thank you. Wishing you all a very safe and happy summer.
Scrip will be available weekdays during summer break at Heartland Credit Union as it has been in the past. You are welcome to call ahead (348-6700) and your order will be ready when you arrive or you can just stop in at any time to pick it up. Drive through service is available for your convenience. The tellers are trained to fill orders so you do not need to specifically ask for Dianne Jentz (unless you want to). Scrip will also continue to be available after all weekend masses. Please continue to purchase scrip and utilize our program year round. The more it’s used, the greater our profits and monies available for our school needs.
We are now accepting registration for children of all ages that would be interested in joining our St. Mary School family. We would be very happy to give a school tour to any families interested in enrolling at St Mary School. Please contact the school office 348-5806 ext 1002, If you have a child or know of a child who would like to be a part of our St. Mary’s Family.
