Scrip sales for June were $24,789 and profits totaled $1,110.20. 7/1/09 – 6/30/10 total annual sales were a record $367,165 earning us a profit of $14,151.88 for the year. Tuition credits earned during the period of 4/1/10 – 6/30/10 will be posted to your accounts soon and will be found on Option C. A total of $2,231.31 was reimbursed to our school families during the 7/1/09 – 6/30/10 period through the tuition credit program for their usage of scrip. Scrip is available weekdays during the summer at Heartland Credit Union. Scrip is also sold after all weekend masses. Scrip sales for July were $28,097 and profits totaled $955.15. Scrip will continue to be available weekdays at Heartland Credit Union until August 31st. Exciting News from SCRIP!!Click Here for the newest SCRIP Order Form Scrip sales for March were $27,256. Profits totaled $956.90 for the month. Tuition credits earned for the period of 1/1/10 – 3/31/10 will be posted to your accounts very soon. Watch Option C for your individual family’s credits. A total of $518.37 has been paid out for this quarter in the form of tuition credits. Beginning 1/1/10, the credits are being paid slightly differently. Instead of receiving a tuition credit of 1% of your total gross purchases (which we had done until 12/31/09), you are now earning/paid credits that equal 25% of the profits earned from your purchases. This change is necessary because of a new software program we are utilizing to track family purchases and Scrip sales so that we can add enhancements to our program. After some research and experimenting, we’ve found that this amount as a whole averages out very close to the 1% of family gross purchases we previously tracked. However, if you typically purchase scrip that earns higher profits for our organization, your credits will be even greater than the 1% gross amount you received in the past. Either way, regular purchases and usage of the program will reap you the greatest credits. Also, COMING SOON, watch for information on how you may be entitled to a charitable tax deduction / tax benefit for participating in our scrip program. Everyone’s Scrip purchases have been tracked for this new enhancement to our Scrip program since 1/1/10 and participants may be able to claim a charitable contribution deduction on your itemized 1040 tax return. If you haven’t been purchasing Scrip in the past, this would be a great time to start. Everybody wins! Lastly, CHICAGO’S BEST in Platteville has recently been added as a new merchant participating in our Scrip program. Randy and Judy Grimes are excited to work with us and are participating at a 10% profit rate to our program. Their certificates are available in $10 increments (larger increments are available via special order). Please show your support and thanks to Chicago’s Best and all of our merchants by purchasing scrip/gift cards to be used at their establishments. Not only did we break our previous monthly record sales of $57,114 in December, 2008 but we shattered it with $67,534 in gift cards and certificates sold during the month of December, 2009. From those sales, we earned profits of $2,920.30. Our YTD sales (7/1/09 – 12/31/09) are $207,352 and YTD profits are $8,157.70. Our sales are ~$15,800 ahead of where we were at this same time last year while profits are ~$550 ahead of last year. Thank you to all who are using this program and we welcome new scrip users at all times! Please remember that scrip is not only great for gift giving, but can also be used for our everyday shopping needs including gas, groceries, dining out, entertainment and much more. It generates thousands of dollars every year for our school. Please help us keep the growth in this program going strong! Thank you so much to all of the students and their families. We are proud to announce that we raised $1,292.60 from the penny war. This far exceeds the $500.00 gaol that we had set when we began. The were very excited this morning when they found out that when the campaign committee put in their estimated amount over the weekend, their amount is what put the campaign over the 1.8 million goal. We are so proud of all of the students and parents. The Kindergarten and 1st Grade classes actually ended up in a tie for 1st place. These classes will be allowed to choose an extra incentive for themselves or possibly the whole school. Not only do we recommend scrip purchases year round for your everyday purchases and gift giving needs, but gift cards, purchased through our scrip program, make excellent business gifts as well. You can purchase gifts cards to say “thank you” to employees, customers and business associates. Scrip gift cards are welcome Christmas gifts and a great way to increase our programs’ profits! Your participation with scrip purchases benefits all of us! Millenium Cinema Cards are only available now in $20.00 increments. They no longer offer $10.00 cards. Starting on Monday, December 07th there will be a volunteer available in the office to sell Scrip from 8-8:30 am. Please try to make your purchases or send in your orders during this time slot. This helps relieve a little of the pressure from Mrs. Bass during the busy month of December. Scrip sales for November totaled $36,596 with profits of $1,646.20. YTD (7/1/09 – 11/30/09) sales = $139,818; YTD profits = $5,239.85. Thanks for using SCRIP and may your shopping be stress-free! Merry Christmas to all! Each child should have received a candle sale packet. We receive 50% of the profits from this sale. We earmark these profits for unexpected technology purposes. ” Home Interiors” has been purchased by a compnay entitled “Celebrating Home” , through this new company we have the food items available for sale also. Please try to sell the candles and food items to your family. The sale official began on Monday, November 9 and continues until Monday, November 30. All orders need to be returned to the school office by9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 30. All products ordered will be delivered to you before December 21.
