Cub Scout Pack 83 enjoyed some pumpkin fun at our meeting October 27th.  Each boy creatively designed and carved their pumpkin, learned how to handle a knife and other carving instruments and individually presented his masterpiece to the Pack!  A scary good time was had by all.  Thanks to the parents and families who joined us for this event.  Happy and Safe Halloween to all!

j0437982Our Annual Popcorn Sale was a HUGE success with over $4,100 in sales.  We exceeded our goals and we thank our Cubs and all who supported our effort.   Popcorn delivery is set for mid November.

 A Little about Cub Scouts

Cub Scouting is a family-oriented program that is open to boys and their families regardless of race, creed, color, ethnicity, or disability. In a Cub Scout Pack, your son will participate in fun activities that will help teach him new skills and how to get along with others. He will learn citizenship, sportsmanship, and participate in activities that will help keep him physically fit. Cub Scouting will help reinforce the values that you are teaching your son by involving him in well-planned and age-appropriate activities that are designed to be fun and educational. Cub Scouting will teach your son to “do his best” and will provide positive reinforcement for him when he does.

St. Mary’s Cub Scout Pack 83 falls under the leadership of the

Blackhawk Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America .

Come check out the positive skills your son (age 7-10) can learn for a lifetime.
