Traveling Chalice
Again this year, as part of our early release prayer services, we are incorporating the traveling chalice from church. Each class has been assigned a weekend (the same month they will be helping to plan the prayer service) when we will ask any student from that grade to come to the front at one of the weekend masses with the teacher representative to receive the chalice from Monsignor. The students and teacher will then take the chalice to their classroom for the week and bring it to our prayer service on Wednesday. Please have your child attend on their assigned weekend. Following are the weekends and the assigned grade: October 11—Gr. 5; November 8—Gr. 7; December 6—Gr. 3; January 10—Gr. 6; February 7—Gr. 8; March 7—Gr. 4; April 11—Gr. 1; May 9—Gr. 2.
